Reporting about the XR industry has never been easy.
You have to describe experiences you can hardly find words for, as you have to try it. You do it for a small group of enthusiasts, which means you will not get rich reporting about XR. And if that is not enough BigTech is puting pressure on us, be it via pressure on the EU or just by ignoring us when they don't like what we do.
We dont whine, we are still doing it, because we are more than just reporting facts. We see the value of it's technology. And it will not go away.
To talk about that in detail, I am happy that I was able to sit together with two very experienced collegues at nextReality.festival: Antony Vitillo and Jan-Keno Janssen. Each of us has its own individual story, and with that comes an individual way how we handle the dificulties of our jobs.
I think this panel gives you a good impression about the conditions of medial publicity in the XR industry. So, if you ever wondered how we do what we do and why, this might be a first apetizer.
💌 And this is also an invitation: If you are a developer and want to talk to us about what you do in XR: Just hit us up! We have a big heart for indys and KMUs :-) |
