EuroXR Summer School 2026

The EuroXR President, Dr. Patrick Bourdot, recently presented at CGI 2026, focusing on the challenges and opportunities of immersive collaboration using Extended Reality (XR). The keynote examined how XR can facilitate working together in both co-located and remote immersive settings, addressing key research questions such as user co-habitation, dual presence, spatial consistency. Furthermore, he participated in a panel discussion addressing the question “Has Generative AI Changed the Core Research Agenda of Computer Graphics?”, highlighting the key issues and challenges posed by generative AI for related fields such as XR and immersive technologies.
